Spineda

The earliest evidence, handed down through history to the present day, comes from the Neolithic period. Numerous significant finds were discovered, including the remains of a village dating back to the Bronze Age, preserved in the archaeological museum in Viadana. In the Spineda area, visitors can see an old farmhouse owned by the Canossas, probably intended for family rest during the summer. At the entrance to the village stands the magnificent Palazzo dei Cavalcabò, formerly owned by this venerable family from Cremona.
