OP - Viaggiare nell’Oglio Po
   |    Local action group Oglio Po water lands

The green of nature and the blue of the marshes, unavoidable signs of the presence of the Po, accompany visitors’ walks along the banks of the river. Here you can visit the Lancone Oasis, an old bend in the river Po, a remnant of the natural ecosystem that once constituted the Po valley, characterized by typical, local flora and fauna. Numerous paths lead through the surrounding landscape to local villas. Those worth mentioning include the eighteenth century Villa Ferrari and Villa Lodi Bodini, built in the seventeenth century. The latter is a unique example in the panorama of the villas in Cremona, considering the two minor complexes that constitute it. A characteristic route starts from Cascina Palazzo, passing through the flood containment basins, to reach the Maria Luigia Island.
