Cella Dati

The seventeenth-century Villa Dati, with its vast courtyard, is decorated using remarkable frescoes by G. B. Natali and G. B. Motta. Becoming the town hall in 1889, the villa houses a collection of still life paintings by Giovanni Crivelli, known as Crivellino. The surrounding countryside counts many residential buildings, among which Villa Campagna and Villa Torretta stand out for importance, situated in rustic, single courtyards, unmistakable symbols of the country tradition that permeates these areas, in the wake of ancient feudalism. The characteristic façade of Villa Torretta has a portal outside, surmounted by a rustic, wrought iron balcony.
