Penci Palace

The Palace of the 17th century, with the upper floors not completed, towers majestically above the characteristic portals supported by ashlar masonry pilasters.  The main entrance, with its prestigious wooden door, leads to the loggia and stairway of honour, today incorporated into living spaces. Inside one finds the ample halls with paneled ceilings and the little court theatre, that all remain unfinished. The Penci Counts were at the service of the Gonzaga of Bozzolo noble house that enlisted among its members eminent ecclesiastical celebrities, magistrates and men of culture.
