Brunelli Bonetti Courtyard

The decorative axis of the façade blends contrasting expressive features: the profile of the mixtilinear windows, following the rococo style, varying the design of the renaissance 17th-century framings and the pilasters with string course bands, mark the front area and prepare the way towards the simplification of the late 18th century architectonic language, inspired by Enlightenment principles. The simultaneous presence of morphologic elements gives a clue to the period of construction traced to the first decade of the second half of the 18th century, when the provincial artistic artifacts blended traditionally accepted facts with new expressions, echoing the new languages of the main celebrities of those times.
